Set deal pipeline stages so forecasting, board views, and revenue reports stay consistent.

Open deal stages

  • Open Settings, then Deal stages
  • Add, rename, reorder, or retire stages carefully
  • Mark won and lost stages clearly for reporting

Before changing stages

  • Export or review active deals by stage
  • Tell managers before changing pipeline definitions
  • Avoid deleting a stage with many open deals
  • Check automations that depend on stage names

Common issues

  • Deals in old stage — bulk move before retiring a stage
  • Forecast changed — confirm won/lost mapping
  • Stage missing in board — refresh Deals after saving
