Before you begin

Board view is best when you want a stage-by-stage pipeline view. Table view is better for column comparison and bulk edits.

Use the board

  • Open Contacts or Leads board view
  • Review each stage column
  • Open a card to view details
  • Move a card when the person advances to a new stage
  • Use stage rules from your admin when deciding where a record belongs

What you should see

Each record should appear in one stage, and moving it should update the stage shown on the detail page.

Common issues

  • Cannot move card — your role may not include stage edit permission
  • Stage missing — ask an admin to review pipeline stage settings
  • Board feels crowded — use filters, queues, or table view
