- NO_EMAIL — lead has no email address
- DO_NOT_EMAIL — lead opted out of email
- OUTBOUND_SUPPRESSED — bounce or complaint suppression
- NOT_VERIFIED — run email verify on the lead (uses credits)
- NOT_DELIVERABLE — verification status is not deliverable
SMS block reasons
- NO_PHONE — no phone on lead
- NOT_VERIFIED — verify phone before automated SMS
- LANDLINE_OR_VOIP — automated SMS requires verified mobile
- SMS_OPT_OUT — number replied STOP
- DO_NOT_CONTACT — cross-channel opt-out
- INVALID / UNKNOWN — carrier lookup failed
Form-specific
SMS steps skip when marketing consent was unchecked on form submit. Email steps may still run if email is eligible.
What to do
- Open cadence instance on lead detail — read skip reason on the step row
- Fix lead fields, verify contact info, or clear opt-out when appropriate and compliant
- Manual touch from Inbox or Dialer when automation cannot run
