Field tips

  • Map owner email to assignee, not display name
  • Normalize phone format; keep stage names consistent with your pipeline
  • Use source to track where the list came from
  • Keep consent fields when importing marketing lists
  • Import into a test workspace first for large migrations

What you should see

A completed import should show how many records were created, merged, skipped, or failed. Imported records should appear in Contacts or Leads with the mapped source and assignee.

Common issues

  • Wrong owner after import — map assignee email column correctly
  • Duplicates — imports merge when email or phone matches an existing record
  • Rows failed — review required fields and invalid phone or email values
  • Records missing — clear filters, groups, and queues
