Before you begin
- Import requires admin, manager, or import permission
- Prepare a CSV with one person per row
- Use owner email, not display name, when assigning records
- Use Contacts language for real estate and Leads language for other industries

Import CSV
- Open Contacts or Leads
- Choose Import
- Upload your CSV
- Map CSV columns to Flowforce fields
- Review duplicate and validation warnings
- Confirm the import

Field tips
- Map owner email to assignee, not display name
- Normalize phone format; keep stage names consistent with your pipeline
- Use source to track where the list came from
- Keep consent fields when importing marketing lists
- Import into a test workspace first for large migrations
What you should see
A completed import should show how many records were created, merged, skipped, or failed. Imported records should appear in Contacts or Leads with the mapped source and assignee.
Common issues
- Wrong owner after import — map assignee email column correctly
- Duplicates — imports merge when email or phone matches an existing record
- Rows failed — review required fields and invalid phone or email values
- Records missing — clear filters, groups, and queues
