Before you begin
- Connect a mailbox under Integrations → Email Integration (/dashboard/integrations/email)
- Pro plan required to connect your own Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox
Open Inbox
Click **Inbox** in the sidebar (/dashboard/inbox).
Smart queues
In the left nav under **Queues**:
- Awaiting your reply — they emailed last (excludes bounces and system mail)
- Hot leads — unread inbound linked to a lead
- Waiting on them — you sent last; no reply yet
- Unlinked — inbound not linked to a lead
Folders and compose
- Click **Inbox** under Folders to see all mail
- Compose from the toolbar — link threads to leads for timeline history
- Switch to SMS channel with the Email / Messages toggle when Phone & SMS is connected
Common issues
- No mail appearing — confirm mailbox connected and sync completed
- Cannot send — connect email on Pro or use workspace default sender
- Thread not on lead timeline — link the conversation to the lead from the thread menu
